Tell us about the material and the application.
A useful aluminum welding enquiry includes the material or alloy if known, thickness, joint or damage location and the purpose of the part. For repair work, photographs of the surrounding area help explain the condition as well as the visible damage.
If the component has specific service conditions, inspection requirements or documentation needs, include them at the start. Suitability and the proposed scope need to be confirmed for the actual job.

Useful answers before you enquire.
Do you weld aluminum?
Yes. Aluminum TIG welding is one of AMC's workshop services. Send the material and job details so we can assess your particular requirement.
Can you assess an aluminum repair from photos?
Photos are useful for an initial enquiry. Suitability may also depend on the alloy, thickness, condition and intended use, and a physical inspection may be needed.
What if I do not know the alloy?
Tell us it is unknown and share any available markings, part information or supplier details. We will discuss what can be established before confirming the work.
Can you meet a specific welding standard or inspection requirement?
Share the exact requirement before placing the order. We will confirm whether the requested scope and documentation can be provided.
